Sambì Bike

An organic farm run by a family that roots its product in the Ticino region. But Sambì does not stop there: under its hat, we find not only the drink but also sports and charity.

Together with a group of friends, Martino and Gabriele created the Sambì Bike Team, a group of cycling enthusiasts who in 2020 launched the SambìSwissTour, a stage race through the Trails of Switzerland on their own mountain bikes.

In the upcoming 2023, the big news will be the introduction of the Sambì Ticino Tour for the first time. This tour will be entirely carried out throughout Italian Switzerland passing through its respective urban areas: Mendrisiotto, Luganese, Bellinzonese, Locarnese, and Valleys, all the way to the northernmost places.

Here, the slogan "not just a drink… way more" acquires its meaning. It is not simply about producing a beverage, but about creating a whole world around it, which also includes sports and helping others.

Sambi and Inclusion Handicap Ticino

The Sambì Team has always been in close contact with organizations that dedicate their resources to the world of solidarity. A recent example is the excellent collaboration established with Inclusine Handicap Ticino. In 2021, they carried out what was the first solidarity tour, during which they raised funds in support of the projects and activities of the Inclusion Handicap Ticino association, based in Giubiasco, which has been defending the rights of people with disabilities since 1973.

As mentioned earlier, an example took place in 2022 where the group of friends embarked on a new adventure. Starting from Basel on July 24, the team passed through Schaffhausen, Hemberg, Kublis, Zuoz, Sondrio, and Splügen. The tour ended in Melano, where a social barbecue was organized, and the proceeds were once again donated to the association in Giubiasco.

Side Events

To better promote the project and raise funds for Inclusion Handicap, in addition to the sports challenge, concerts and DJ sets will be organized in the locations touched by the tour where possible, as well as evenings in clubs. Sambi is committed to involving the entire population as much as possible through innovative ideas, not only focusing on the concept of the beverage itself but also on sharing precious moments with those who believe in the project or simply enjoy spending happy moments together.
