Our nocino, made according to an ancient recipe, is crafted with local grappa, green walnuts, sugar, and spices, and aged for at least 1 year in glass demijohns to allow its ingredients to blend.

Walnuts for our nocino are traditionally harvested on June 24, the day of Saint John.

Distinctive Characteristics:

Nocino is a liqueur obtained by infusing green walnut husks in local grappa, enriched with a skillful blend of sugar and spices. This combination, left to macerate following lunar cycles, gives rise to a distillate with a deep dark color and a rich, enveloping taste, with spicy notes and a characteristic bitter aftertaste.

Production Process:

Production of Nocino begins with the green walnuts being harvested and macerated in our own grappa. To this infusion, sugar and a selection of spices are added, following an ancient recipe closely guarded by the company. After a resting period of at least a year in glass demijohns, during which the liqueur gains complexity and harmony, Nocino is filtered and bottled.
